GSX Privacy Statement

This is the privacy statement ("Privacy Policy") of Global Skill Exchange Limited (ACN 129 590 656) ("GSX"). GSX is subject to the Privacy Act 1988.

General

‘GSX’ means Global Skill Exchange Limited

‘User’ is an individual or company accessing GSX

‘Site’ is website located at www.gsxonline.com.au

This privacy statement sets out how GSX will deal with your/the Users personal information.

GSX policy is that all personal or company information provided to GSX will be held in a secure environment within GSX and used only to allow contracted services to be provided to individual or company. If contract ceases, GSX will permanently delete all data from existing files.

GSX can not be liable for the use of information once released to potential or outside agencies as part of the trading activity.

In using GSX’s website located at www.gsxonline.com.au ("Site") you agree to be bound by the terms of this GSX privacy statement ("Privacy Policy").

GSX may review the privacy statement periodically and reserves the right to change the statement at any time at its discretion and post such changes on the site. Changes will be effected immediately upon notification on the site. Your continued use of the site following notification will constitute your acceptance of those changes.

Privacy statement will not apply to websites which are linked to the site and over which GSX has no control of.

Collection

GSX only collects personal information ("Personal Information") from you/the User:

a) to process your application to become a member of GSX ("Member");
b) to provide services to you as a member;
c) to identify you as a member for security purposes;
d) to upgrade and enhance your experience within the site or on the phone, or personalise information, services or products to tailor your needs;
e) to create aggregate data about members through demographic profiling, statistical analysis of the database to provide to potential stakeholders, and to allow for more efficient operation of GSX business and;
f) to determine members' liability to pay goods and services tax and other taxes where applicable.

From time to time GSX may use your personal information to inform you about GSX services or about, promotional activities which GSX believes may be of interest or of benefit to you.

If you do not provide GSX with your personal information, it may be unable to provide you with its services.

Examples of the personal information that may be collected by GSX include your name, address, email address, phone / fax numbers and date of birth.

GSX will collect your personal information only by lawful and fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way.

Management of your Personal Information

GSX will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal Information which it collects, uses or discloses is accurately recorded and is stored in a secure environment which is accessed only by authorised persons.

If it is practicable to do so, and safe to the extent reasonably required to ensure compliance with any law, GSX will destroy or permanently de-identify the personal information when this is no longer required.

Use and Disclosure

GSX does not give, sell, rent, share or trade any personal information regarding its Members to third parties, except as set out in the privacy statement.

GSX employees are subject to confidentiality agreements in respect of members' personal information and trading behaviour.

By choosing to supply personal information to GSX, you/the User consent to GSX using your personal information as set out in the privacy statement.

Personal information collected by GSX may be disclosed to a third party in the following circumstances:

a) in order to provide you/the User with services that have been requested or to meet some other purpose for which individuals personal information was collected;
b) where, at the time of collection, GSX has informed you/the User of the third parties or classes of third parties to whom your personal information will be disclosed;
c) where the disclosure is required or authorised by law or otherwise permitted under the Privacy Act;

GSX will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information which GSX discloses to a third party is protected by that party in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

Security of Personal Information

You/the User acknowledge that no data transmission over the internet is totally secure. Accordingly, GSX does not warrant the security of any information which is transmitted to it. Any information which you/the User transmit to GSX is transmitted at your own risk. However, once GSX receives your transmission, GSX will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure including password protected systems and databases and Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") technology.

Access to Personal Information

The User may access the personal information collected by GSX by entering the “Members Lounge/Personal Details” on the site.

Correction and Continuous Updating of your Personal Information

Personal Information can be updated by you in the “Members Lounge/Personal Details” section of the site at any time after you log in. Personal information can also be updated by calling GSX on 1300 200 477.

If the User believes that the personal information GSX holds is inaccurate, incomplete or not current, please let GSX know and it will correct it.

GSX undertakes to make reasonable attempts to ensure the accuracy of personal information, and will make contact with you/the User on a periodic basis to seek the most up to date information, Please advise GSX if you do not wish GSX to take these steps to keep its database as accurate as possible.
